Mike Tyson Mocks Jake Paul Over Fight Press Conference Faceoff Photos: ” Love Meeting My Fans”

Throughout most of the press conference, Tyson appeared to take a more relaxed approach compared to Paul, suggesting he views the former YouTuber as less of a threat. During their faceoff, the 58-year-old Tyson playfully shoved Paul and laughed when the 27-year-old Paul responded in kind.

Originally scheduled to fight Paul on July 20, Tyson had to withdraw due to an ulcer flare-up, leading to a rescheduled fight date of November 15. This bout will be the first major combat sports event broadcast live on Netflix.

Despite the criticism of the matchmaking due to their 30-year age gap, Tyson remained unfazed about facing Paul. When questioned about why he would agree to fight Paul at this stage in his life, Tyson responded, “Because I can. Who else can do it but me? Who else is he gonna fight to make this happen? We’ve got a YouTuber fighting the greatest fighter that has ever lived.”

While Tyson is not overly concerned about Paul’s abilities, Paul recently secured a sixth-round TKO victory over Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship veteran Mike Perry, improving his record to 10-1. Tyson remains determined to prove he can deliver a formidable performance despite his age.
